Whiten your sneakers
If the rubber trim around your sneakers is dirty or scuffed, a little toothpaste cleaning hack can make a huge difference. Put a dab of toothpaste on an old toothbrush and start scrubbing the trim clean.
Then, be sure to use a clean, damp cloth to wipe away any toothpaste residue and leave them to dry.
Polish jewelry and silver
Toothpaste can bring back the sparkle if your silverware or jewelry has started looking rather dull. First, squeeze a pea-sized portion of toothpaste onto an old toothbrush or microfiber cloth.
Then, rub it onto your silver in circular motions to polish and clean any tarnish that might have built up. Let it sit for about 5 minutes before rinsing the toothpaste thoroughly with warm water and then dry it.
If you’re using toothpaste when learning to clean jewelry, don’t forget to choose a type that contains no tartar control, whitening agents, or any other extras.
And NEVER use this toothpaste cleaning hack on gemstones or diamonds because this might be too abrasive and will scratch the surface.
