3. TV or computer screens

Don’t, just don’t! Spraying Windex on monitors can damage them because it’s intended to warp plastic, and it’s easy to do this on the tint of your flat panel screens. You better use a damp cloth or electronic wipes to clean the screens.

If you need to clean a little deeper than just the dust, use isopropyl alcohol, commonly known as isopropanol, which will work wonders. Keep in mind to use light movements when cleaning your screens to not cause damage by pushing too hard, as they are very sensitive.

4. Copper

Copper appliances will be affected by the alcohol that Windex contains. It can affect the patina and cause permanent discoloration. You better use water only and a microfiber cloth.
