About Us

Who we are, what we write about and how every guide is put together.

Last updated

Wipe and Organize is a home-care publication about the two jobs every household shares: keeping things clean and giving everything a place. We publish practical, room-by-room guides for people who want a calmer home without turning it into a second job.

What we cover

Our library is organized in three sections. You can also browse by room from the floor plan on our homepage, starting from the kitchen, the bathroom, the laundry room or the front door.

  • Cleaning: how to clean specific surfaces and appliances without damaging them, the habits that keep them clean longer, and the common mistakes that leave film, streaks or scratches behind.
  • Organizing: storage ideas, decluttering rules and layouts for small spaces, crowded closets and homes without a basement or a mudroom.
  • Expert Tips: what professional cleaners and organizers notice first, when household items need replacing, and small maintenance jobs that make an older home feel cared for.

How our guides are made

Our articles are written with AI assistance and reviewed by our editorial team before they are published. We use AI tools to research, outline and draft; editors then check the instructions, the safety notes and the sources, and rewrite anything that is unclear or untested in everyday use.

Cleaning advice can damage a surface or put someone at risk when it is wrong, so we lean on published guidance rather than opinion: product label directions, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the American Cleaning Institute, among others. Our Editorial Policy explains the process in full.

Our voice

We write as a team, not as individual personalities. You will not find author bios or celebrity cleaners here: every guide carries the same standard and the same accountability, and corrections come from the whole editorial team.

How the site is funded

Wipe and Organize is free to read. It is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense and by affiliate links, mainly to Amazon. When you buy through one of those links we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Advertisers and retailers have no say in what we write; see our Advertiser Disclosure.

Who runs Wipe and Organize
