Wrinkle-free clothes by using your hair straightener

Hair straighteners are unquestionably the best companions for ladies. When you need to iron your clothing quickly and avoid wrinkles, they may quickly become everyone’s best friend. Press the collar of your shirt by using the hair straightener to rapidly smooth out any wrinkles in your garment.
Remember to wipe off any product buildup on the plates first and adjust the temperature accordingly (low heat for silk and satin, higher temperature for cotton).

Release wrinkles in the dryer

Another helpful advice to get wrinkle-free clothes that it’s actually one of the best from the list is to use the dryer to your advantage. How can you do that? Let’s see!

Stuff that comes out of the washing machine completely wrinkled can be ironed by placing it in the dryer. This method is ideal for clothing that’s composed of more than 80% cotton, but it may also be used for mixtures of cotton.

With a little wet towel, place your garments in the dryer to produce steam and eliminate any potential creases. Use a washcloth if the majority of your wardrobe consists of t-shirts. Remove the items from the dryer as soon as the cycle is over, and put the dryer in its highest setting for a maximum of 10 minutes.

Hang the clothes next to a steamy shower

If you want to have wrinkle-free clothes while you’re traveling and you can’t iron them, use your shower. Yes, you’ve heard me well! A shower can be your friend-in-need whenever you’re out of town.

Hang the wrinkled item in the shower Then turn on the hot water and let it flow. To create the effect of a sauna, close the door. It could take up to 20 minutes to fully eliminate the creases, so check back in approximately 10 minutes.

Tip: Make sure the showerhead is pointing away from the shower rod while hanging clothing to prevent it from becoming wet!

Tea kettles can help too!

Not in possession of a steamer? Discover how to use a teapot and nothing else to iron garments to remove creases. Place your article of clothing approximately a foot away from the steam after bringing a teapot to a boil. And voilà! Your clothes are wrinkle-free!

If this didn’t work out as you expected, you can also toss the boiling water and use the bottom of the kettle to iron the garments. Just make sure it’s clean enough so you won’t stain the clothes, and then spend another couple of minutes getting rid of them!

Buy a wrinkle-remover spray

If you want to have wrinkle-free clothes, but you’re in a hurry and you don’t have enough time to iron them opt for the cold ironing method. For a simple, fast remedy, get a wrinkle-releaser spray. It’s perfect for fast usage in the morning or for packing your luggage when you’re leaving on a trip.

The delightful scent of these fabric-softening items often revives stale clothing that is stashed in your baggage. They are surprisingly effective.
To release the wrinkles, just spritz on the wrinkles, tug and smooth by hand, then hang up the clothing or give it a few shakes.

However, before using the spray, always test a hidden area of cloth, especially if it contains materials like silk or rayon that are prone to water stains.

Tip: If buying a wrinkle remover spray it’s too expensive for you, we have some good news: you can make your homemade spray. Mix one or two cups of boiling or distilled water with a teaspoon of liquid hair conditioner or fabric softener. If you have, try to add a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol. It will help the mixture to dry faster.

Make sure the solution is properly shaken, test it on a discrete area of fabric, and then lightly wet the item of clothing with a spray bottle. As an alternative, try combining three parts of water with one part of distilled white vinegar.

Blow-dry your clothes

If you’re traveling or in a rush and don’t have access to an iron, hair dryers may work wonders on wrinkles. If at all possible, suspend the item from a wire or rope and apply heat directly to its wrinkled surface after first moistening it with bottled water.

To reduce the chance of burning, hold the dryer at least 50 centimeters away from the clothing and adjust the temperature according to the material.

Roll your clothes after they dry

If our grandmothers and mothers had done this to every article of clothing after it was cleaned, ironing would still rank among the toughest household tasks. For this reason, when the clothing has completely dried, we must at least attempt to prevent wrinkles by taking one tiny step.

Some materials are awful, no matter how much you’re going to iron them. That’s why it’s also important to hang them on the rope to let them dry.

Now, what would you think, though, if I told you that the first step in the process is the way you fold your clothes once they’re dry? Place your clothing on a level surface—the floor is acceptable—and gently try to stretch the fabric.

Tuck them under a mattress

When you don’t have anything on hand, like a flat iron or any of the things we mentioned above, use your mattress. Put your clothes on a flat surface, and with your hands, try to remove as many wrinkles as possible.

Then roll the garment like a burrito, carefully place it under your mattress, and let it sit for a couple of minutes (10–15 minutes is recommended). Remove it, and surprise! You have wrinkle-free clothes!

Bottom line

If you want to have wrinkle-free clothes, you can also try to fold them carefully in your drawers and remove them soon after the dryer stops. Always select a gentle wash cycle, especially for delicate clothes.

Moreover, it’s important to not overload your washing machine and use the right kind of detergent for automatic washes. Also, try to keep the dryer clean and lint-free!
