Get rid of those stains on your carpets
Spills or stains on the carpet are usually the stuff of nightmares, especially if you’ve got red wine stains. But squeeze toothpaste directly onto the stain before scrubbing with an old or small bristle brush.
This should work wonders to lift and remove the stain. Yet, it’s always best to test it on a small area before cleaning it. And don’t forget, you can always rent or buy a carpet cleaner if everything else fails.
Clean a sinched iron
Scorch marks can be unappealing on iron plates and can even leave marks on your clothing. But luckily, they can easily be removed with a toothpaste cleaning hack. Always wait for your iron to be completely cool before applying a bit of toothpaste on the iron plate.
Let it sit for a couple of minutes before rubbing the stain away by using a towel or microfiber cloth. When the stain has disappeared, rinse with water, ensuring no traces of toothpaste residue.
